Praise The Lord!
The following is notes from Jan 17th 2012:
Thought of the day: Think of someone you can be a blessing to.
Galatians 6:9
Do not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have the opportunity let us all do good (do good to all) especially to those who are in the household of faith.
Numbers 6:24-27
James 4:7 - Submit to God, Resist the devil and he will flee. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (my second favorite verse!)
James 1:2 - Count it all joy when you fall into various trials - Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, let patience have its full work. So that you will be complete, lacking nothing.
{ Be patient - don't give up before the end is near, for if you wait - everything will come together as it ought to be. }
Joshua 1:9
***The reason some men and women rise above the rest - is that they think and pray differently than those around them. ***
Dispite what others had destined for Jabez, he chose to rise above that and ask God directly to change his future. To step out.
Bless = To ask for or impart supernatural blessing.
You have not because you ask not....my child. ~ James 4:2
~ Change the way I think Lord, so that I will be able to accept the blessings you wish to bestow upon my life.
~ What counts is knowing who you want to be and asking for it.
Fruit of the spirit: those things which are produced from the Spirit of God.
LOVE - JOY - PEACE - LONG-SUFFERING - FAITHFULNESS - GOODNESS - SELF CONTROL - KINDNESS - GENTLENESS.
The spirit battles against the lust of flesh - and flesh against the spirit. Those who are Christ's have crucified (put away/killed) the flesh with all its temptations. If we live in the spirit - let us also WALK in the spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25 & Gal. 6:4-10

Salvation
By nature we are all born unto the desires of this world - we are all sinners. However, Praise be to God - He snt His son to die for us - so that we would understand the sacrifice He made. So that by His grace and mercy and compassion we would choose life. We would chose to be saved by Gods grace and receive an inheritance in due time. That we would have eternal life with our heavenly Father and sin no more. That we would be saved and make it our mission to save others. That all would know of Gods love and in turn all be a part of Gods gift of eternal life.
Amen!
~ Jessica

More thoughts................................ <3
I'm not a book worm - by any means. For some reason I just cannot stay focused long enough for the book to keep my attention. What I enjoy about reading the Bible is that no matter what part of the Bible I read - no matter how many times I skip around God can still speak to me.
Im not sure what direction I should be going at this time in my life - I do know however where I need to focus my energy.
If i will focus on God's promises and His loving kindness - In due time He will reveal to me what I am to be doing with my life. In the meantime - one thing is true and certain. That I am to spend my time with God, love neighbors and members of the body as myself and to seek and save the lost.
Now - Ephesians 3:20 - to Him who is ABLE to do EXCEEDINGLY * ABUNDANTLY * Above ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the Glory. Walk worthy of the calling which you were called....for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith.
4:23 - Put on the new man created according to God's righteousness.
- Ephesians 4:29 & 4:32 -
Follow Me
Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith and in purity.
but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Proverbs, Day 1notes
Blessings!
Alrighty, I'd like to put my notes down on my blog - my notebooks are filling up fast, and I don't want to keep the words I've written in them to myself, I want to share them!
So in no order whatsoever, I will copy my notes below: These notes are from my Proverbs study as well as notes I've taken from Christian Television, Bible Studies and Church Sermons. :)
- Studies on January 16th. -

Jan 16: WDILT? (What did I learn today?)
If you don't brush your teeth - they hurt. Start your day off with God. He will Bless you if you put Him FIRST in your life. ~ me.
Proverbs 17:14 - The beginning of strife is like releasing water, Therefore stop contention before a quarrel starts.
17:17 - A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity.
17:22 - A merry heart does good like medicine but a broken spirit dries the bones.
17:27 - He who has knowledge spares his words, and a man of understanding is of a calm spirit.
{Forgive 490 times - Always}
Matthew 16:16 - Simon Peter: You are the Christ, the son of the Living God. Have child like faith when you come to God.
Be faithful to Him in the small things and He will trust you in the large things.
Matthew 19:17-24 - If you want to enter into life, you must keep the commandments:
Thou shall not murder
Thou shall not commit adultery
Thou shall not steal
Thou shall not bear false witness
Thou shall Honor your father and mother
Thou shall love your neighbor as yourself
I have kept these from my youth,, what do I still lack?
'Go, sell what you have and give it to the poor then your treasure will be in heaven. Come - Follow me. (he walked away - for his possessions meant more to him than life) ' It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Surely it is easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle. - Studies on January 16th. -
Proverbs - Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding.
Greetings....
On the 16th of January I guess you could say I rededicated my time to the Lord. I came to the realization that I wasn't spending near as much time as I should have been, with the God I serve. My thoughts are...if I'm not financially stable enough to tithe my $ - the least I can do is tithe my time.
My goal was to read 1 book of Proverbs every day - there are 31 Proverbs, so it was the perfect book to start with, as there are 31 days in a month (usually) Today is February 10th - 6 days shy of 1 month from when I started. I have faithfully been reading one book of Proverbs each day, preferably each morning - without skipping a beat. Praise God for that! As He knows that I am NOT good with habits.
Since I started on the 16th, I started on Proverbs 16 - When I got to the 31st - I debated whether or not to start on a different book, or to go back thru and do the first part of Proverbs...I decided to go back thru. So I am now on day 10 (Chapter 10).
There is a wrap-up of my studies recently....I will follow up with my notes when I have time. :)

so many ways to go. unsure of the direction.
At a crossroads. Must life always throw so many roads at once that u don't know which way to take?
Seems sensible that one would take the road that seems sensible, eh? Lol but what if they all are sensible, just not all..do-able? Ugh.
I'm gonna keep trusting God, and praying that He will continue to open doors.
New venture.......Florida! Wow. Talk about a change....only the Lord knows...what He knows lol we arent always meant to be let in on the details :)
I know deep down it is for the better. It will be somewhat hard to let go of a place in which I've spent so many years, and developed some really great friendships....but as a Christian,I know I am meant to be ever changing. Christ remains the same, buti need to be wyilling to step out of my comfort zone, out into the unknown. :)

Forever In Love With Jesus < 3
Forever in Love with Jesus. . .
To be intimately in Love with Him should be our ultimate goal.
Not just moments of sporadicity (i think i just made up a new word...) in other words..moments of being sporadic - spontaneous - like..."oh hey!" moments lol...catch my drift? When we happen to come to the realization that it's been a good week or so since we've dove deep in the Word. Or our life has maybe gotten a little rocky lately? So maybe we should say a few prayers just to get us through the week.....STOP!
Stop right there.
If you think that that is considered a healthy relationship with God the Father, you are so very wrong!
Time spent with God is never wasted.
If you think that just knowing of God is enough - then you need a reality check my friend. God desires that we have an intimate - deep - personal relationship with Him, it's His greatest desire!
Think of your relationship with God - as a marriage relationship. He wants you to vow to Stand with Him for Better or for Worse, in the Good times and in the Bad...He wants you to depend on Him, to Trust Him, to Know that He will provide for you - despite what might come your way.
I will be honest, I am guilty of not having a very intimate relationship with Him - my life used to consist of sporadic moments of Bible Reading and Praying........until a few moments - times in my life - that really hit home for me, and caused me to come closer to God that I will ever be able to comprehend. As i write this....i am holding back tears for various reasons. One reason is for a person I hold dear to my heart - on the other hand, it is because I am so taken back at the way God works...all throughout my life He has been there, holding my hand...and carrying me thru the sand in the worst of times. I am also just so thankful! for All He has done. He truly blows my mind sometimes.
I have made the conscious decision to draw near to Him, so that He will draw near to me. I don't ever want to drift far from Him ever again. The devil has a funny way of pulling us further and further from God so secretively that we don't even notice until we are so far away that we find it hard to come back to Him. Little do we ever remember, that He is always waiting with arms open WIDE - ready to EMBRACE us all. Regardless of what we've done, He loves us for WHO WE ARE. Not for who we will become.
God can bring us together, He can also drive us apart....If He drives you apart from someone, it is to teach one or the other a very important lesson. Remember, God is the ONLY one that can see the BIGGER Picture. We can never comprehend what is going on in His mind, because His thoughts are not our Thoughts. His ways are NOT our ways, even tho sometimes we'd like them to be, eh?
DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU.
Fall Forever In Love With Jesus Now, and for all eternity. <3

Absolutely Meaningless.
We are all searching for something.......
A new job. a new spouse. a new friend. a new car. a new purpose. a new church. a new life...
Too many of us are so attached to our possessions. We think that we have to cling to them like there is no tomorrow, we are all trying to get something better all the time...
When it comes down to it, all these things are absolutely meaningless...unless you've got 1 thing at the heart of it all. If you are pursuing Christ, and realize that nothing in this earth can ever satisfy the hunger that Jesus fulfills...then your on the right track :)
Possessions are possessions...they come and they go, they are never with you forever. You need to be rooted deep in your faith - and know that Jesus NEVER Changes, He never leaves....moths and rust will consume our possessions one day, you can't take them with you when you leave.
Put your focus on God. Stay rooted so you will not be easily swayed.
Everything in this earth is meaningless, without Christ.
With Christ, you can do great things.
"I can do ALL things THRU Christ who gives me STRENGTH"

We all just wanna be loved. . . . .not consumed
Isn't it the truth. Regardless of where we are in life, who is in our life, what we are doing...bottom line is, we want someone to talk to, and someone to love us back.
If a love you give is not returned, it's the worse feeling in the world.
We all want a friend.
We all want to be loved.
We all want to feel important.
We all want someone to talk to.
Part of being human, is communicating and fellowshipping with others - if we don't have some kind of connection with someone else we lose touch with the world, and start to think that nobody cares.
Some things you can do to keep yourself in check with yourself and people around you:
It helps to surround yourself with positive friends...that is a big help. Another thing you can do is keep a journal - write down all the positive, fun times you've shared with people in the past...keep reading it, even years down the road - it will keep your memory fresh with good memories :)
Get involved in a good church, and if you can't do that...get a friend that can keep you accountable to read your Bible.
Make a choice to be 100% devoted to God. If you live in FULL dependence on Him, you are living the life of a true disciple.
Become aware of your relationships.
It's important to realize the relationship you do have with some people, don't let life get you so consumed that you realize too late that you didn't spend enough time with someone. Don't let your relationships fall by the wayside. Life is funny in the way that it LOVES to consume us! Put ur foot down now. Make the choice to NOT let life consume you. Remember, we are supposed to be NOTW. (not of this world)
Stand out! Be different! Don't be consumed.
