Goodness gracious!
What a last few months I have had. Still financially struggling, just trying to stay above water - I went from about 12 hrs a week @ work between my 3 jobs to 73 hrs a week....yes, I did say 73. I am tired!
Some days I work 6am - 11:30pm ALL DAY LONG.
Anyways. I do what I have to do.
Oh Lordy, I am so confused right now. So much going on, too many hours...not the right jobs.
I do have an interview tomorrow! So I pray that goes well, It would hopefully be for a full time position...so keep that in your prayers!

Memorize!
Here I sit....Here I am.....
Some verses I've gathered over the past few days to enlighten oneself.
Ephesians 2:8-9
For it is by grace you have been saved, thru faith - and this not of ourselves, it is the gift of God - not of works lest anyone should boast.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, old things have passed - Behold all things have become new,
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
1 Peter 3:3
Do not let your adornment be merely outward, arranging your hair, wearing gold or fine apparel - rather let it be the hidden person of your heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
1 Peter 3:17
It is better if it is the will of God to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.
1 Peter 4:4 Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.
Awesome! I just did these mostly by memory :) I'm so proud of myself.
Hide God's word in your heart, so that you do not sin against Him :)

Joyce: on the topic of FEELINGS.
Notes from a Joyce Meyers sermon:
Feelings are extremely unreliable.
We need to rely on the Word, feelings just tell us how we feel - they don't tell us how God feels.
It is imperative that we make a conscience decision to choose a lifestyle that is led by the spirit, rather than one led by our feelings. Let God be the final deciding factor in everything we do.
If something does not agree with God's word - it is wrong.
Be willing to study the word, To be a serious stdent of the word.
There are 3 parts to us: #1 Spirit - #2 Soul and #3 Physical. (Hebrews 4:12)
We can easily deceive ourselves - to suit our needs. The devil will help you with this....He willl misquote scripture and take it out of context, to your liking. (1 cor 2:14-15)
If something feels wrong - I can choose to do what is right.
Take notes - Listen to CD teachings - Make time - Make an investment in the word - Listen to the right music - do things to keep the spirit stirred up within you.
God knows what is right - Cling to the truth of His word!
Deal with the roots of your feelings and you will deal with the root of your problems.

Answer to a Prayer.....
I cried out to the Lord, in desperation - I could no longer take it.....I could not contain my fears,tears,depression,oppression...etc. For all the stress upon me had finally taken it's toll.
I cried out to God - I prayed, I cried, I quoted Psalms, I read His word daily - and in a short while...God answered a prayer.
Psalm 13
How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul. Having sorrow in my heart daily? How long will my enemy be exalted over me? Consider AND hear me, O Lord my God. Enlighten my eyes...lest those who trouble me, rejoice when I am moved. BUT - I have trusted in Your mercy, my heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me.
A Cry for Help.
Psalm 17
Hear a just cause, O Lord, Attend to my cry. Give ear to my prayer which is not from deceitful lips. Let my vindication come from Your presence, Let your eyes look on the things that are upright You have tested my heart, you have visited me in the night. You have examined me and have found nothing of evil. I have puposed that my mouth shall not transgress. Concerning the works of men, By the word of your lips, I have kept away from the paths of the destroyer. Uphold my steps in your paths, that my footsteps may not slip. I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O God. Incline your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show your marvelous lovingkindness by your right hand. O You who save those who trust in you...Keep me as the apple of your eye. Hide me from under the shadow of your wings. From the wicked one who opresses me. From my enemies who surround me.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ My Declaration:
I will love You, O Lord. My Strength. The Lord is my Rock and my fortress and my deliverer. My god, my strength in whom I will trust. My sheild and the strength of my salvation, my stronghold. I will call upon the Lord who is worthy to be praised. So I shall be saved from my enemies.
I spoke the Word over my life, and confessed to God that i could no longer take it. I needed a sign, I needed to know that He was listening.
A Day (1 day) after reading and declaring these Psalms - I had the opportunity to meet with a Prophetess. Sister Jackson. She prayed with me, and spoke life over me. She prophesied the following:
That God would be giving me great responsibility, and that I should prepare for it.
That my life would be Well & Blessed.
That I would be a speaker. (what? me? lol)
Would work with children.
That I will travel across the world and even into Europe.
That I would marry a good-looking husband (yes, I chuckled a little when she told me this, but she said 'Im serious! You will.' She said - Wait on the Lord, because you don't settle for less than God's best).
She said that I would be financially well off. (I literally almost started to cry when she said this)
and that my Hands would be used for great things.
This was a confirmation to the first prophesy I received from Q - just 2 weeks prior! Praise God.
This was His sign. To me, this prophesy by Sister Jackson, was a sign that God was there, He was listening, and that things would get better. A revelation in a time of need.
So. Despite how dim things look, I know God has a plan for my life, and I know that I will be greatly used by Him in great ways. I'm excited!
I am a little nervous, because I know God is going to stretch me beyond what I would like - but that is the purpose of being a Christian! To let God use us, to stretch us, to mold us! MAKE YOURSELF UNCOMFORTABLE for Christ. It's not about how comfortable we are with a situation...it is 'Lord, am I doing all that I can for Your glory?'
AMEN?
AMEN!!!!

Love > Fear
Sometimes if feels as though fear is greater than love....with all that life throws at us, it's very easy to become afraid, or fearful of how things are going to turn out, or even fearful of the people around you. We have to remember, that God's word says - Love casts out all fear. Fear cannot exist where Love abides. Love is the greatest commandment. To walk in Love.
1 John 4:18 is like the motherload of verses when it comes to fear and love - it says There is no fear in love. Perfect Love casts out all fear.
Couldn't be more clear!
We need to have the obedience to put God first in our lives, to put LOVE first.
The Protection of God's Love relieves our fears.
Random Thoughts: God still has a purpose for you - there is nothing that can happen that will derail God's plan for your life. If he has set out a path for you, He will keep you on it.
so do not fear!
ah ha! Joshua 1:9 - Have I, the Lord not commanded you? BE STRONG AND OF GOOD COURAGE....DO NOT FEAR, NOR BE DISMAYED FOR THE LORD YOUR GOD IS WITH YOU WHEREVER YOU GO!
CHILL. Sit back and let God lead you. Don't live your life in fear of being afraid - be fearless!
Live in Love. not in fear. :)

Thoughts...
Thoughts I've gathered today.....
Sometimes God will allow you to be used, so that others have the opportunity to be a blessing.
Struggling at times in my life...feel like i've hit rock bottom - but I know that God does everything for a particular reason. Before a heartache can ever touch my life, it has to go thru HIS hands.
I was thinking today, that I guess I should feel glad in knowing that God has found enough favor in me/my family to chose us to be a blessing to others. :)
I know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that even though things are hard right now, and often times painful, that God WILL turn it around. He is just using these times to make me stronger, and to enable me to be able to help others later in life. I know first hand that you cannot even begin to help ANYONE unless you have walked a mile, or years for that matter - in their shoes. Its just a fact of life. You can talk till your blue in the face about your problems to one person - but if they've never been in that situation before, that really cannot begin to imagine what your talking about.
So....do I know what God will have me do with my testimony one day? No. Do I know God's plan and purpose for my life? No. Just that I AM here for a purpose and God DOES have a plan for my life, and I am going to leave it up to HIM to decide what that will be. Lord only knows I'm going to mess things up if I go and stick my head where it doesn't belong.
I am going to follow Christ with my Heart.

Crossway Sermon 2-12-12
We are called to Love God - and Love Others, and to love them as we love ourselves.
Treat others as you would like to be treated.
Our natural condition - our natural desires are SIN & DEATH. Without God we know nothing else.
~ You either love people or you use them ~
You either love your neighbor as yourself - or you are using them in some way.
Love....what is love? Love is an expression - it is an Action of someones best interest in mind. It is not a feeling. Love is an Action. You don't 'fall' into love...you fall into holes. Rather, you 'Walk' in love, as it is an action, something that requires putting forth effort. Not just something that happens. Love acts in the interest of others.
Marriage...the purpose of it is not that you are happy - it is to make you Holy.
A relationship should consist of an 'Ongoing, living, visual, interpretation of Christ'. Glorifying God should be your main concern. Honor your significant other, and expect the same in return.
The Love Language of Women:
They want to be Cherished, Adored, Loved.
The Love Language of Men:
They want honor. Respect.
The role of a Godly man should be:
A Shepard, leading his wife...Pastor of the household - it is HIS responsibility to water you with the word, to train you, and build you up with the word. He should be your spiritual leader. The Primary Pastor of the home.
What type of friend are you?
Do you display Godly, Devoted, Wise, Sanctifying Friendship?
or do you gossip behind your friends back, saying how much you despise them in every way.
Friends look out for the best interest of others.
Proverbs 17:17

" 27:9
" 19:4-6
" 16:28
" 22:24 - sometimes it is necessary to pull away/separate yourself from your friends

Praise The Lord!
The following is notes from Jan 17th 2012:
Thought of the day: Think of someone you can be a blessing to.
Galatians 6:9
Do not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have the opportunity let us all do good (do good to all) especially to those who are in the household of faith.
Numbers 6:24-27
James 4:7 - Submit to God, Resist the devil and he will flee. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. (my second favorite verse!)
James 1:2 - Count it all joy when you fall into various trials - Knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience, let patience have its full work. So that you will be complete, lacking nothing.
{ Be patient - don't give up before the end is near, for if you wait - everything will come together as it ought to be. }
Joshua 1:9
***The reason some men and women rise above the rest - is that they think and pray differently than those around them. ***
Dispite what others had destined for Jabez, he chose to rise above that and ask God directly to change his future. To step out.
Bless = To ask for or impart supernatural blessing.
You have not because you ask not....my child. ~ James 4:2
~ Change the way I think Lord, so that I will be able to accept the blessings you wish to bestow upon my life.
~ What counts is knowing who you want to be and asking for it.
Fruit of the spirit: those things which are produced from the Spirit of God.
LOVE - JOY - PEACE - LONG-SUFFERING - FAITHFULNESS - GOODNESS - SELF CONTROL - KINDNESS - GENTLENESS.
The spirit battles against the lust of flesh - and flesh against the spirit. Those who are Christ's have crucified (put away/killed) the flesh with all its temptations. If we live in the spirit - let us also WALK in the spirit.
Galatians 5:22-25 & Gal. 6:4-10

Salvation
By nature we are all born unto the desires of this world - we are all sinners. However, Praise be to God - He snt His son to die for us - so that we would understand the sacrifice He made. So that by His grace and mercy and compassion we would choose life. We would chose to be saved by Gods grace and receive an inheritance in due time. That we would have eternal life with our heavenly Father and sin no more. That we would be saved and make it our mission to save others. That all would know of Gods love and in turn all be a part of Gods gift of eternal life.
Amen!

I'm not a book worm - by any means. For some reason I just cannot stay focused long enough for the book to keep my attention. What I enjoy about reading the Bible is that no matter what part of the Bible I read - no matter how many times I skip around God can still speak to me.
Im not sure what direction I should be going at this time in my life - I do know however where I need to focus my energy.
If i will focus on God's promises and His loving kindness - In due time He will reveal to me what I am to be doing with my life. In the meantime - one thing is true and certain. That I am to spend my time with God, love neighbors and members of the body as myself and to seek and save the lost.
Now - Ephesians 3:20 - to Him who is ABLE to do EXCEEDINGLY * ABUNDANTLY * Above ALL that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the Glory. Walk worthy of the calling which you were called....for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith.
4:23 - Put on the new man created according to God's righteousness.
- Ephesians 4:29 & 4:32 -

Thou shall love your neighbor as yourself
I have kept these from my youth,, what do I still lack?
'Go, sell what you have and give it to the poor then your treasure will be in heaven. Come - Follow me. (he walked away - for his possessions meant more to him than life) ' It is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Surely it is easier for a camel to go thru the eye of a needle. - Studies on January 16th. -
Proverbs - Knowledge, Wisdom, Understanding.
Greetings....
On the 16th of January I guess you could say I rededicated my time to the Lord. I came to the realization that I wasn't spending near as much time as I should have been, with the God I serve. My thoughts are...if I'm not financially stable enough to tithe my $ - the least I can do is tithe my time.
My goal was to read 1 book of Proverbs every day - there are 31 Proverbs, so it was the perfect book to start with, as there are 31 days in a month (usually) Today is February 10th - 6 days shy of 1 month from when I started. I have faithfully been reading one book of Proverbs each day, preferably each morning - without skipping a beat. Praise God for that! As He knows that I am NOT good with habits.
Since I started on the 16th, I started on Proverbs 16 - When I got to the 31st - I debated whether or not to start on a different book, or to go back thru and do the first part of Proverbs...I decided to go back thru. So I am now on day 10 (Chapter 10).
There is a wrap-up of my studies recently....I will follow up with my notes when I have time. :)
Blessings!

so many ways to go. unsure of the direction.
At a crossroads. Must life always throw so many roads at once that u don't know which way to take?
Seems sensible that one would take the road that seems sensible, eh? Lol but what if they all are sensible, just not all..do-able? Ugh.
I'm gonna keep trusting God, and praying that He will continue to open doors.
New venture.......Florida! Wow. Talk about a change....only the Lord knows...what He knows lol we arent always meant to be let in on the details :)
I know deep down it is for the better. It will be somewhat hard to let go of a place in which I've spent so many years, and developed some really great friendships....but as a Christian,I know I am meant to be ever changing. Christ remains the same, buti need to be wyilling to step out of my comfort zone, out into the unknown. :)

Forever In Love With Jesus < 3
Forever in Love with Jesus. . .
To be intimately in Love with Him should be our ultimate goal.
Not just moments of sporadicity (i think i just made up a new word...) in other words..moments of being sporadic - spontaneous - like..."oh hey!" moments lol...catch my drift? When we happen to come to the realization that it's been a good week or so since we've dove deep in the Word. Or our life has maybe gotten a little rocky lately? So maybe we should say a few prayers just to get us through the week.....STOP!
Stop right there.
If you think that that is considered a healthy relationship with God the Father, you are so very wrong!
Time spent with God is never wasted.
If you think that just knowing of God is enough - then you need a reality check my friend. God desires that we have an intimate - deep - personal relationship with Him, it's His greatest desire!
Think of your relationship with God - as a marriage relationship. He wants you to vow to Stand with Him for Better or for Worse, in the Good times and in the Bad...He wants you to depend on Him, to Trust Him, to Know that He will provide for you - despite what might come your way.
I will be honest, I am guilty of not having a very intimate relationship with Him - my life used to consist of sporadic moments of Bible Reading and Praying........until a few moments - times in my life - that really hit home for me, and caused me to come closer to God that I will ever be able to comprehend. As i write this....i am holding back tears for various reasons. One reason is for a person I hold dear to my heart - on the other hand, it is because I am so taken back at the way God works...all throughout my life He has been there, holding my hand...and carrying me thru the sand in the worst of times. I am also just so thankful! for All He has done. He truly blows my mind sometimes.
I have made the conscious decision to draw near to Him, so that He will draw near to me. I don't ever want to drift far from Him ever again. The devil has a funny way of pulling us further and further from God so secretively that we don't even notice until we are so far away that we find it hard to come back to Him. Little do we ever remember, that He is always waiting with arms open WIDE - ready to EMBRACE us all. Regardless of what we've done, He loves us for WHO WE ARE. Not for who we will become.
God can bring us together, He can also drive us apart....If He drives you apart from someone, it is to teach one or the other a very important lesson. Remember, God is the ONLY one that can see the BIGGER Picture. We can never comprehend what is going on in His mind, because His thoughts are not our Thoughts. His ways are NOT our ways, even tho sometimes we'd like them to be, eh?
DRAW NEAR TO GOD AND HE WILL DRAW NEAR TO YOU.
Fall Forever In Love With Jesus Now, and for all eternity. <3

Absolutely Meaningless.
We are all searching for something.......
A new job. a new spouse. a new friend. a new car. a new purpose. a new church. a new life...
Too many of us are so attached to our possessions. We think that we have to cling to them like there is no tomorrow, we are all trying to get something better all the time...
When it comes down to it, all these things are absolutely meaningless...unless you've got 1 thing at the heart of it all. If you are pursuing Christ, and realize that nothing in this earth can ever satisfy the hunger that Jesus fulfills...then your on the right track :)
Possessions are possessions...they come and they go, they are never with you forever. You need to be rooted deep in your faith - and know that Jesus NEVER Changes, He never leaves....moths and rust will consume our possessions one day, you can't take them with you when you leave.
Put your focus on God. Stay rooted so you will not be easily swayed.
Everything in this earth is meaningless, without Christ.
With Christ, you can do great things.
"I can do ALL things THRU Christ who gives me STRENGTH"

We all just wanna be loved. . . . .not consumed
Isn't it the truth. Regardless of where we are in life, who is in our life, what we are doing...bottom line is, we want someone to talk to, and someone to love us back.
If a love you give is not returned, it's the worse feeling in the world.
We all want a friend.
We all want to be loved.
We all want to feel important.
We all want someone to talk to.
Part of being human, is communicating and fellowshipping with others - if we don't have some kind of connection with someone else we lose touch with the world, and start to think that nobody cares.
Some things you can do to keep yourself in check with yourself and people around you:
It helps to surround yourself with positive friends...that is a big help. Another thing you can do is keep a journal - write down all the positive, fun times you've shared with people in the past...keep reading it, even years down the road - it will keep your memory fresh with good memories :)
Get involved in a good church, and if you can't do that...get a friend that can keep you accountable to read your Bible.
Make a choice to be 100% devoted to God. If you live in FULL dependence on Him, you are living the life of a true disciple.
Become aware of your relationships.
It's important to realize the relationship you do have with some people, don't let life get you so consumed that you realize too late that you didn't spend enough time with someone. Don't let your relationships fall by the wayside. Life is funny in the way that it LOVES to consume us! Put ur foot down now. Make the choice to NOT let life consume you. Remember, we are supposed to be NOTW. (not of this world)
Stand out! Be different! Don't be consumed.

Live For Today
Hey everyone...
So..........................................a lot has happened recently in my life. More than i care to share at this moment - but i would like to share my thoughts.
ATM (at the moment) I am listening to one of my favorite songs...'Life For Today' by Natalie Grant.
This song is such a wonderful reminder...so many times I tend to try to live in tomorrow, try to figure out tomorrow, try to set my direction for. . .tomorrow - when in all reality, All i can do is live my life one way, and that's for Today.
Despite all that has happened, Im going to try to remember to just take each day one step at a time, and live for today. That's all i can do...
Another thought...I can't do this alone. There is one person I can always turn to - I am so thankful for that. I am committed to God 100% - as best to my ability. He is my life. He is why i live. He is why i love. He is why i am kind. etc..........He is my ALL.
anyways..just random thoughts in no such order at all :)

The joys of life
The sweet joys of life :)
Today i made a facebook for my dog. Yes, my dog! He means that much to me. He is just so precious, he deserves his own fb. My sister made one for her dog as well.
Some of you may think that is a little strange and that i need to get a life. Truth is, i have a life! It's just little things like this that make my life so much more sweeter.
On a second thought...
GOD IS GREAT!!!
As many of you know, we have been PRAYING and PRAYING for a good running vehicle! I have missed SO many jobs and have had waaay too many life crisisis to mention because of not having a good running vehicle.
WELL. After much tribulation and much prayer.........
God has finally blessed us with a beautiful running vehicle! *Praises God and starts doing a happy dance* LOL
Seriously, our pastor is going to give us a car that they are not using. God is SO GOOD.
I am so thankful right now. It just goes to show, that if you continue to trust God and KNOW that He will provide in HIS OWN TIMING - that everything will work together for good, to them that Love God!! (romans 8:28)
Peace out for now :)

To Be, or Not To Be...of This World....That is the Question.
To Be, or Not to Be. . . . . .
As a young woman, i've come to realize...there is more to this life that what this world has to offer.
Should we limit ourselves to so called joys of this world? or should we seek for something much more, something more....eternal?
While on that thought, at what point in our lives should we start looking for this more 'eternal truth'? when we are young? when we are middle aged? or maybe when we are older, just before we realize that we won't be on this earth much longer, is that when? No.
No? yes, no. We should not wait until our life is over to search for eternal truth, this is something we need to start searching for NOW. While we are young, while we are learning, experiencing, and forgetting past mistakes.
This world can only offer us so much....but deep down we will always be wanting more. More? what type of more? we will be looking for a deeper love. a deeper satisfaction in knowing that someone actually cares about us. This world is SO consumed with 'worldly desires' that people hardly stop to care anymore.
There are only a few good souls left in this entire universe that are good Samaritans. There is only one thing that can completely satisfy the missing place in our hearts...this longing, this feeling of needing to be accepted, where does it come from? It comes from something much higher than yourself. Our thoughts are not His thoughts, His ways are much further than our own. We can't even begin to comprehend what this eternal Way, Truth, and Life has in store for us.
Me? I am going to continue searching, seeking, asking, until I am completely satisfied.
Follow me in my journey. . . . . . .
Much Love In Christ, Jessica
