Follow Me

Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young,
but set an example for the believers in speech,
in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

To Be, or Not To Be...of This World....That is the Question.

To Be, or Not to Be. . . . . .

As a young woman, i've come to realize...there is more to this life that what this world has to offer.

Should we limit ourselves to so called joys of this world? or should we seek for something much more, something more....eternal?

While on that thought, at what point in our lives should we start looking for this more 'eternal truth'?  when we are young? when we are middle aged? or maybe when we are older, just before we realize that we won't be on this earth much longer, is that when? No.

No? yes, no.  We should not wait until our life is over to search for eternal truth, this is something we need to start searching for NOW. While we are young, while we are learning, experiencing, and forgetting past mistakes.

This world can only offer us so much....but deep down we will always be wanting more.  More? what type of more?  we will be looking for a deeper love.  a deeper satisfaction in knowing that someone actually cares about us.  This world is SO consumed with 'worldly desires' that people hardly stop to care anymore.

There are only a few good souls left in this entire universe that are good Samaritans.  There is only one thing that can completely satisfy the missing place in our hearts...this longing, this feeling of needing to be accepted, where does it come from?  It comes from something much higher than yourself.  Our thoughts are not His thoughts, His ways are much further than our own. We can't even begin to comprehend what this eternal Way, Truth, and Life has in store for us.

Me? I am going to continue searching, seeking, asking, until I am completely satisfied.

Follow me in my journey. . . . . . .

Much Love In Christ, Jessica

  4. Thanks! Just added you. :-)

Well, if I am repeating anything you already know, please forgive me, but...As for the blog list, in your "dashboard", once you go this specific blog of yours (i.e., "Not of this World"), then under "design", one of the page elements you can "edit" is your blog list. Once you click on that, then all you have to do is click "add to list" in order to add blogs to your list, and then save. :-)

BTW, make sure to update your blog like every day. Just sayin'. lol. :-)
